I prolly just had the best practical class ever!
After lecture this morning, Cindy and I went to Trinity Collage field to collect the soil we needed for the experiment today.
People walked passed giving us that weird eye. But we still had our kick from digging for soil of different consistency.
Anyways, the practical class involved us holding on to a palm full of soil and adding water till it has a dough like consistency. haha. It sounds like a simple experiment, and thats the point! Getting all dirty, messing up the whole lab and attempting to classify the soil types and location was uber interesting! =D

Thank god it is winter and there was no sign of worms or any other bugs.=)

The two guys in Cindy and my group were uber funny. One is from Indonesia and the other is from China. haha. and they were trying to communcation which, worked only to a limited extent. It was like a cat trying to talk to a dog! lolx!

Just another extraordinary day of my life.

Happy Belated Birthday to Yit Ming.

Finally we've got around to celebrating his birthday for him.

Prepared a yummy dinner last night. =D

Drove gerhard's car yesterday to sister loh the 2nd's school and to Aldi. haha. I took like at least 5 minutes to get out of the parking lot (cause the car is uber long and the lot is uber small!!! =x).

I should really start studying hardcore already.

School is not being very nice to me. Gotta study subjects like economics, indigenous people and their state and other stuff! So different from any other subjects i've ever taken up. =( But, Economics is really cool i reckon. Whatever is said really does makes sense.

Anyways, went over to gerhard and rosie's place early this morning, sent them to the airport (they're leaving for singapore) and then reached back home just in time for janet and jac jac. They bought cakes over for tea. SINNERS! It defeats the purpose of going to the gym. lolx. I can still hear the instructor saying, " let's work to those drop dead gorgeous butts! ".

I decided to bake banana cupcakes for dessert today instead of the usual orea cheesecake (which im already kinda sick of). They don't look very yummy but they sure taste good! (really!!!).

So, today is the first day of semester 2. Feels pretty weird seeing the familiar faces once again (not that im complaining =) ). Nice to know that I've close friends in the same subjects as me. Prolly the most interesting happening today was during economics lecture, when the whiteboard moved upwards all by itself. FREAKSHOW!

haha. anyways, got to go meet sister loh the 2nd, Jin and her family for steamboat. YUMYUM! Steamboat during winter = shiokadodo!

It marks another 3 months of mugging! It's a make it or break it semester! Gotta work doubly hard this time round. I can't believe my 7 weeks of holiday just flew past.

Anyways, just got back from Barbara's place. Had a lovely lunch prepared by Rosie and played Sudoku and Rummi-O! I need such games to keep my brain tickling.

Rosie and Gerhard will be leaving for Singapore on friday, which means Heidi and Willy will come over to stay for 3 days over the weekends in 2 weeks time. It just reminds me even more how much i miss ginger loh.

The Great Wall of China exhibition (finally, after 2 months wait). It was pretty okay, quite interesting. Makes me wanna go back to Beijing again.

After the test, went over to meet sister loh the 2nd for a lunch treat at Lana Thai. Food was pretty okay but i reckon Ying Thai is slightly better.

Followed by popping over to Vic market to grab some stuff and now, im back home!

I've been waiting for this day for quite awhile. I always wished it would come by faster. Cause, I promised mr ginger loh i will drive him to St Kilda beach once i get my licence. It hurts to know the promise will never be fulfilled.

Was supposed to meet the rest for dinner tonight to celebrate yit ming's belated birthday. But was cancelled last minute cause the birthday boy had something cropped up.

Anyways, jac and i met first in the afternoon to shop for yit's bday. haha. so not easy man! guys=trouble! =x. we walked around not knowing what to get for him. Wanted to get him this really cool vodka bottle then decided to get him cufflinks (correct spelling) but it was wayyy out of budget so ended up getting him a CK t-shirt that jac and i really like. =)

We then went to the kids department. I SO WANNA HAVE A KID THEN! lolx. all the clothes are uber adoarable can! =)) if only the cost as much as barbie doll's clothes.

Had dinner at Singapore Chom Chom. LOLX! we miss char kway teoy (how to spell?). Then walked over to grab some groceries before heding home in the freezing cold weather. (jac is crazy! she can walk around without a jacket on and not find it unbearbly cold! ) hehe.

Blamn the cold weather for the grumpy mood. Max temperature of 11 degrees is so not funny when it rains all together and you are struggling to park a car.

Anyways, made a orea cheesecake for tea with gerhard and rosie. They came over to the city to get their tickets to singapore. They wll be leaving in 10 days time. nicenice. =)

Rosie said the cheesecake was good only a little too sweet. i bet shes lying just to make me feel better.

oh ya. I've got my timetable for semester two and it rocks! big time. only 19 hours a week compared to semester 1's 27 hours. Hopefully i can change friday's tutorial to wednesday and i will have NO SCHOOL on friday. how cool is that huh! haha. moreover the stores in the citty close late on fridays. muahhaha.

Went shopping yesterday (alone). I get the kick out fo shopping around and being able to drift from one store to another without having to make sure the other person is keeping up. Though i still enjoy shopping with people. Bought myself a high waist skirt. Im getting back on track and not allowing myself to dress the way ive been dressing the past 6 months. Will not go to school in the first piece of clothes my eyes sets upon every morning *shrugs*.

Have you guys realized by a large percentage, girls are with long hair. I am so tempted to keep my hair long again. But then again, i don't wanna look just like everyone else. Though i know down inside we are all the same (if you get what i mean). They always say girls tend to cut their hair short after a major happening. I think i can understand why people say that. Having short hair, is being a part of the minority, in a way, it empowers people. ya reckon?

I always thought girls with short hair are strong independent ones. Not to say those with long hair are not. I believe much so, they are too.

Why am i sprouting nonsense again? I don't know, really don't...

haha! this video reminds me of the secondary school days whilst everyone was trying to keep their heads up during lessons time (especially chem and maths =x) .

Jessica called on Friday for dinner and i decided to ask her to my place for dinner instead. Partly cause i was too lazy to go out in the cold weather =p. Anyways, jessica is like one of the closer friend i had in trinity and i was super unhappy to know that she will be studying in sdyney instead of melbourne. Was really glad to meet up with her after so long. =D

Anyways, Saturday was the true holiday i always crave for. I woke up at like 10am, had breakky with sister loh the 2nd, started reading at 1.30am till 6pm before having dinner and watching tvie all the way till 10.30pm. haha. holiday should be all about relaxing what.

Went to school with sister loh the 2nd today. Had nothing on so decided to accompany her to the lab. Read magazine while she did her experiment till 330pm and we headed over to the gym. Been sucha long time since we went la. Im now aching all over. Old already...haix. we were watching mtv today morning and saw shakira's video and was inspired to go work out. LOLX! =D

Mummy just left this afternoon for singapore and i miss her already. =(
No more nice warm cooked food waiting for me when i get home and mid night chit chats. Now, i wanna go back to singapore. =(

Hopefully when school starts, it will keep me busy and by the time i know it, im back home.

My holidays are coming to an end in just ten days time and that means my driving exam is in exactly 7 days time! I really do hope i can pass on the first try! i don't wanna spend more time on learning to drive when i can be concentrating on my studies. (which i would really like to ace).

Anyways, jessica is in town. Planning to meet up on sunday! =D

It is a realization all of us have to start coming to terms with. Time flies. Before you can say, "omg!" the next year slaps you in the face. IT IS ALREADY JULY FOR GAWD'S SAKE!

Im starting school in two weeks time. Im actually pretty excited over it. I miss going for lectures and having to study. Weird i know i am.

|| im still missing you much.

Went over to Crown Casion for dinner on Friday night, as a celebration for the good results. It was packed with people and we had to wait up to around 40 mins for a table. A nice and simple dinner.

And yesterday, Gerhard and Rosie came over for steamboat. Was good to have such hot soup on a cold and wet winter night.

Actually been checking my results every single day to make sure they did not make a mistake. =) Hopefully this keeps up and i can go over to Sweden next year. =))

My baby boy left us to go to heaven. He peacefully left us yesterday morning at home with us all holding him, after his walk in the park. It was not a torturing departure on him. He is now happily resting in Gerhard and Rosie's beautiful garden with the birds singing to him everyday and lovely flowers surrounding him. The sun was shinning the whole day despite the forecast weather of rain. Someone special in heaven is telling us he is well taken care of now. We all love him so so much and we are glad he has finally found peace. Thank you for all the wonderful memories gin gin boy. I'll never stop loving you.

For real! its nice to surrounded by the people you know best and also knows you the best. More than that, at least from now on I don't have to go to bed with an empty stomach! muhahaha. I think if i do live alone next time for good, i'll prolly die of starvation. Im always either to lazy to cook or by the time im done cooking im already filled with snacks.

Anyways, IT IS FREEZING COLD CAN! It's like raining almost every single day (except today) and like the max temperature is usually only 14 degrees. My back is starting to ache due to the coldness =_=.

Gin boy isn't looking too well these days and its stressing all of us. =( Im amazed how i have taken into him just staying with him for 1 and a half years. He feels like my little brother ive never had. And i feel like i have to protect him and will protect him. It really does hurt so so much seeing him so unwell. But, i guess what they say is true, life is never fair and everything happens for a reason. We're really lucky to still have him with us now. Whatever happens, he will be the one male living i'll always love so deeply.
