After two weeks of intense Greensteps training, we ended off the formal classroom learning part at St Kilda (SoulMaMa) for a lovely lunch. I can't believe how fast the time flew by =(.

I am already missing the lunches we share together. I miss all the greenies and all the fun we shared.

That aside, Mariko arrived in melbourne on sunday =). Met up with her and sister loh the 2nd at St Kilda after my lunch. Been out and about pretty much everyday, leaving me with barely sufficient time to catch up on work. Which, I should start like now.

I think soon enough i'll be able to make a class full of friends whom i lost because of competition.
It is very irritating when people do not celebrate your achievements.
I guess what they say is true 'people hate you because they are jealous of you'.
And I am uber lucky, so i should not find it uber surprising why people dislike me.

that aside,

I miss home =(

Although the Ausssie routine has already fell into place, I still miss celebrating family stuff. I just missed loh loh's birthday =( and soon i'll be missing on dad's birthday. =(

Dad & Mum would not be popping by for my ceremony since i'll be back one month later and they'll only be able to spare a short time here and dad has to be back before his birthday.

I really do hope i get into berkeley so I can spend at least two months in spore. But based on the fact that I have been so lucky, it might be this time that i am less lucky... sighhhhhhh.....

The past few weeks have just be absolutely crazy!

Last weekend was spent restoring nests of Squirral/Sugar glidders.

Was pretty awesome!

Those glidders were amazingly adorable =)

And, I GOT INTO THE GREEN STEPS PROGRAM! Surprise Suprise!

Had the first training over the weekends starting from Friday all the way through to Sunday.

I slept at like 8pm last night and woke up only at 7am this morning. And then I came back and 'napped' for like another 2 hours.

sigh, saving the world is tiring...

Anyways! THIS WEEK HAS TO BE THE BEST EVER!

I RECEIVED THE DEAN'S HONOUR AWARD!

(which is like top 1% / 3%)

its freaking amazing cause ive been praying so so hard for it.

Come March, I did not receive any news, I gave up the hope of getting the award.

However, it arrived like 3 days ago in the mail box =D

Best letter ever, I swear I cried like I won 19 million dollars.

Its really nice to hear dad & mum saying they'll pop by for the ceremony immediately. =))

Though I really think it isnt necessary cause i'll be going back soon after.

Oh wells, life is gooodddddd.....

The last time I went for an interview was when I was 15 (four freaking years ago).

That time, it was for the exchange to Beijing.

There were roughly 30 people going for that interview with 5 places available.

Tomorrow, its for the Green Steps Program.

There are roughly hundreds of applicants,

and only 12 are getting it.

lets just hope i dont embrass myself.
