Term One:
"Lay Leng is a smart, committed and perceptive student, and I am very pleased with her progress in History of Ideas. She has demonstrated in class work that she has an ability to think critically about a range of subjects, and is always willing to express and defend her opinion on these. These sklls will stand her in a good stead in her future univeristy study. I look forward to working with her in Term 2.".

Term 2:
"Lay Leng is a smart, capable, and funny student, and it is a pleasure to have her in the class. She is a strong and frequent participant in class discussion where she helps to drive along the topic. Her first essay, while having some faults, shows that she is beginning to pick up some important skills associated with successful academic writing. In order to fully refine these and use them effectively, she will need to keep putting effort in. I look forward to her next essay.".

Have I not mentioned how much I always look forward to History of Ideas tutorial class? I am so sure I have the best class ever. We spend half the tutorial time talking about everything that has absolutely nothing to do with history, we eat chocolate pizza together with Frazer explanning about history while attempting to pass around the pizza. Man oh man, I am so gonna miss HOI class. =((
Am also looking forward to the last HOI class which we plan to have on the grass patch, talking about the exam questions while having a picnic. =))
